A new music video featuring Kwon Eunbi was released yesterday. Well, actually it's an old MV but now it's in Japanese too. The Korean version of "CHO" was released months ago, and what's interesting about it is that while Eunbi is a member of Feverse, the girl group that performs it, she is also at the same time not a member of the group. Feverse is a virtual idol group, whose members include idols like Eunbi, but instead of being their idolselves, they take on a virtual character's persona.
Virtual idols on Twicehub
Like VCHA came from A2K, Feverse came out of the survival show Girl's RE:VERSE. I remember hearing about it awhile back and meant to check it out, but eventually forgot about it. As time passed it slipped from into the recesses of my memory even after becoming aware of the other virtual groups ISEGYE IDOL and PLAVE. Those two groups were under consideration for being added to the schedules, but I opted to give preference to physical idols instead. However, finding out that Kwon Eunbi is a member of Feverse gives me an opportunity to both finally watch the show as well as incorporate a virtual group into Twicehub, albeit in Eunbi's schedule instead of a standalone schedule. Fair warning though: the group looks pretty dead, so don't expect many events from them.
